VenaSeal is a new procedure just recently approved by the FDA. Although yet to be covered by most insurance carriers, MVC can work with patients on payment option plans. The procedure is minimally invasive and performed identical to the EVLT and EVRFA barring the delivery of anesthetic to the leg with small needle pokes making the procedure virtually painless. Instead of laser or radio-frequency energy closing the vein, medical grade superglue is slowly released to seal the diseased vein. This procedure does not require post procedure compression stockings.
