Near the San Antonio International Airport and North Star Mall is our first San Antonio clinic which opened in 2017. This spacious, spa-like facility has a large, inviting waiting room, state-of-the-art equipment, and a bilingual team of vein and lymphatic experts to care for our patients.
Medical Vein Clinic’s sole focus is to help an estimated one million-plus patients in the Metropolitan San Antonio Area with venous and lymphatic disease lead healthier, fuller lives. Nearly 30% of the US population suffer from vein and lymphatic disease, but that number is higher in San Antonio with its large Hispanic population (vein disease is more prevalent within this demographic), and heat that can amplify this painful disease.
Medical Vein Clinic’s physicians have 40+ years of combined experience treating leg vein disorders. We have treated more than 50,000 San Antonians since we first opened our doors. When choosing a vein doctor, it’s important they are a board-certified radiologist specializing in vein disease. Vein disease is progressive and, if not properly treated, only gets worse so you want to be treated by doctors who have deep experience in this area.
Spider veins are a symptom of underlying vein disease. If you don’t treat the underlying cause, patients may experience more swelling, pain, etc. For instance, if you have a hole in the wall due to termites, plastering and painting over it doesn’t get rid of the problem. Likewise, if you treat spider veins without treating the underlying cause, they may come back worse than before.
Our procedures are covered by medical insurance and you are just a phone call away from better leg health and a more active life. This location has easy access to US Hwy 285 North. The clinic has plenty of free, upfront parking for our patients.

To meet the strong patient demand for our state-of-the-art treatments, Medical Vein Clinic opened a second location in the Fall of 2023 in Alamo Ranch, in Northwest San Antonio.
Medical Vein Clinic is the only San Antonio medical provider with the most advanced and sensitive ultrasounds. Built specifically for vascular imaging, these ultrasound are used to diagnose leg vein disease and blood clots.
Six years after Medical Vein Clinic opened its first clinic on Isom Road, they surveyed referring physicians and patients and found a clear demand for more of their services in the dense, fast-growing Alamo Ranch area. So, they built a second world-class, spacious, private clinic that, like their first location, offers the latest non-invasive treatments for varicose veins caused by venous insufficiency.
Some clinics still use surgery to remove varicose veins, an older, highly invasive, costly,s and painful procedure that requires anesthesia and a long recovery time. Our non-surgical, state-of-the-art ultrasound-guided vein treatments use local, topical anesthetics. These procedures take about an hour, and our patients walk-in and walk out of our clinic.
Our trusted vein specialists take the time to explain vein disease to patients, its underlying causes, processes, and treatment options. Out team answers patient questions knowledgeably and thoroughly.
We accept insurance to pay for procedures because insurance companies recognize our doctors’ expertise and believe their treatments will help stop the progression of vein disease. Vein disease, left unchecked, will only get worse---in some cases may lead to permanent Rust Tattoo™, or darkening of the lower legs, chronic swelling, and loss of mobility. With the interventional treatments and our holistic approach to patient care, they return to good leg health and better overall health.
You are just a phone call away from saying goodbye to tired, heavy, swollen legs and hello to a more active life.
