How We Treat Varicose Veins
We map your veins with ultrasound first, then treat the ones causing the problem. Radiofrequency ablation is the most common approach and closes the vein from the inside using heat. VenaSeal uses a medical adhesive instead, which means no compression stockings afterward. Both are done in-office with local anesthesia, and most insurance plans cover them once conservative treatment (usually a short trial with compression stockings) has been tried first.
